Torre delle Stelle
Founded in the late 60s, the tourist village Torre delle Stelle is located about 35 Km from Cagliari (35 minutes by car) and 19 Km from Villasimius on the south-east coast of Sardinia. Inhabited all year round by about one hundred residents, it comes alive mainly in the hot months and in the middle and low season it gives its best becoming a paradise of colours and scents, where the voices of nature reign supreme. Due to its particular position, Torre delle Stelle can boast the longest summer of the whole island, located in the coastal area of the municipalities of Maracalagonis and Sinnai.
To see near Torre delle Stelle: beautiful beaches such as Cann’eSisa and Genn’e Mari, Solanas, Villasimius, Geremeas, Costa Rey and Cagliari, the capital of the island.
During spring and summer there are two small supermarkets, a fish market, a butcher’s shop and a clothing, handicraft and souvenir shop. There are also kiosks and stalls selling local products, from fruit and vegetables to Sardinian cold cuts and pecorino cheese (typical products of our land). You can also find beachwear, books and flowers. Newsstands, tobacconists and pharmacies are other services available in high season. In low season, a grocery shop and the newsstand/bar/tobacco shop are open only during the weekend. In Torre delle Stelle there are several bars and ice-cream parlours that remain open until late in the evening.
The village is however a very quiet and safe place, during the summer months the medical guard services are active and from spring a pharmacy is also open in the fall.

- Restaurant Pizzeria Genn’e Mari +39 320 943 9365 – Via del Sagittario (from the end of May to the beginning of November), a restaurant that offers typical Sardinian and fish with an excellent quality/price value, also on reservation it is possible to request the preparation of take-away dishes
- Restaurant Pizzeria Aquarium +39 375 510 0593 – Strada Statale – in front of the entrance Torre delle Stelle (open from spring to autumn)
- Restaurant Pizzeria Eat&More +39 070 786 392 – Via Sagittario (in high season a Cocktail Bar is open next to the restaurant – there is also a Bar and Ice Cream Shop)
- Restaurant Pizzeria Il Saraceno +39 070786534 – Strada Statale – second entrance of Torre delle Stelle coming from Cagliari, the first coming from Villasimius (open all year round)
